Shipping, Return and Exchange Policy

SHIPPING CHARGES

Orders placed on walkingcradles.com are shipped anywhere in the United States. We do not ship internationally. We do, however, have select international retail partners that can be found here: Store Locator.

All orders are shipped through the United States Postal Service, unless otherwise indicated within your shipping updates. Please allow 1-3 business days for order and warehouse processing. Customers can typically expect delivery within 3-7 business days after an order is received. We ship from our warehouse Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once we receive your order and another e-mail notification when your shoes have shipped.

Standard ground shipping charges are $10.95 for the contiguous U.S. (unless otherwise stated). For Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico the standard shipping charge is $17.00. Please note that shipping charges are not refunded if merchandise is returned.

If an order reaches a subtotal of $150.00 in merchandise before any applicable taxes are applied, standard ground outbound shipping is free.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING

Expedited shipping can be arranged. Please contact Customer Service at 1-800-323-4979 (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30PM CST) and we will happily arrange the shipping you need. Prices vary, so we are only able to provide the cost of expedited shipping once you contact us and we know the service you need, what items will be shipping, and the shipping address. Please note, all expedited shipping requests must be in by noon (CST) to ship same day. Requests made after 12pm (CST) are not guaranteed to ship the same day and may not ship until the next business day.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

If you need to return part or all of your order, please follow the instructions below. You may return unworn shoes in their original packaging within 60 days of purchase to receive a refund via your original form of payment.

We can only accept returns of shoes purchased directly from walkingcradles.com. If you purchased shoes from another retailer, you will need to contact them to arrange a return or exchange.

Try the shoes first and keep all boxes/materials.

Please take some time to try on your new shoes indoors on a clean surface to make sure you are happy with the fit and feel. Shoes with visible signs of wear cannot be returned or refunded. If you need to return shoes, they must be returned in their original shoe box. When you ship shoes back for an exchange or refund, please place the shoe box inside a shipping box (preferably the one used when you received the shipment).

HOW TO RETURN

Please complete the return form (found in your original shipping box or downloadable here, and return it with your order. If you wish to exchange, please also complete the bottom half of the form.

RETURN SHIPPING OPTIONS:

Option 1: Call 636-203-4566 or email [email protected] and ask to have a pre-paid mailing label emailed to you. This label can then be printed, applied to the shipping box, and dropped off with USPS. When we receive your return, you will be credited the cost of the shoes and taxes paid, less $10.95 for the return label and any original outbound shipping charges.

OR

Option 2: You may take the shoes to the shipping carrier of your choice, purchase shipping, and send to the address below. When we receive your return, you will be credited the cost of the shoes and taxes paid, less any original outbound shipping charges.

PLEASE NOTE, WE DO NOT COVER RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES. IF WE PROVIDE A PRE-PAID LABEL FOR RETURNING ONE PAIR OF SHOES, $10.95 WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR REFUND, ALONG WITH ANY ORIGINAL OUTBOUND SHIPPING CHARGES.

SHOULD YOU BE RETURNING MULTIPLE PAIRS, THE COST OF THE RETURN LABEL WILL NEED TO BE DETERMINED BY CONTACTING CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 636-203-4566. WE WILL THEN EMAIL THE PRE-PAID RETURN LABEL AND THE ACTUAL COST OF THE RETURN LABEL WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR REFUND.

RETURNS OF TALL-SHAFT BOOTS: Should you decide to return tall-shaft boots (Kristen, Meadow or Tristan), the cost of the shipping label will be determined by using the most economical rate from either UPS or USPS. The cost to return a tall-shaft boot is greater than that of other shoes due to their size and weight. We are happy to provide the rate prior to sending a shipping label as the cost of the shipping will be deducted from your refund.

A blank return form is included in your original package for your convenience. If you don't have the original return form that was included in your order, please click HERE to download it directly to your computer for printing. Please complete the form in full and include it inside the return package. This is required for processing a return or exchange.

Returns/exchanges can only be made on orders placed on walkingcradles.com. We are unable to process returns or exchanges for items purchased from other retailers. If you have purchased your Walking Cradles shoes through another retailer, please contact that retailer for their return procedure. Items purchased from walkingcradles.com may not be returned to any other retailer.

When completing the return form, please provide the reason(s) from the options given, or write in under "other."

All footwear will be inspected upon return and refunds processed for shoes that meet the criteria of "new and unworn, in their original condition."

In the unlikely instance that shoes have been shipped to you that do not match your original order, we will refund both your shipping and handling charge incurred in ordering the product(s) being returned. Please call +1 (636) 203-4566 or e-mail us at [email protected].

RETURNING DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
In the case of a defective shoe, please provide several photos of the shoes clearly showing the defective area(s), along with a photo or copy of your receipt to [email protected]. The receipt must clearly indicate where the shoes were purchased, the date of purchase and the price you paid. Defective shoes will be accepted within one calendar year of the date of purchase. We will either replace the shoe with the exact style, size and color if it is still available. If it is unavailable we will refund the original amount paid.

HOW TO EXCHANGE

Option 1: Return the items you don’t want for a refund and then place a new order for the replacement product on our website.

OR

Option 2: If you prefer to wait until we receive your return, please note that the items may not be available in your size/width. If this happens, you will be contacted by customer service and your return will be refunded, per our Shipping, Return and Exchange Policy. Should you wish to wait for us to receive your return to try to process an exchange, please complete that information on the return form. Please note, we can only issue exchanges for the originally ordered shoe in a different size or width. If you are wanting a different shoe, you will simply need to return the item you don’t want and then place a new order on our website.

ROUTE PACKAGE PROTECTION POLICY

We have partnered with Route to offer package protection insurance for your purchases. By opting-in, you are agreeing to pay the listed amount to protect your shipment from lost, damaged or stolen items. All claims are handled through Route. If you do not select Route Package Protection insurance, you are releasing any responsibility on the part of The Walking Cradle Company, LLC and acknowledging that you understand claims can not be made directly with the Walking Cradle Company, LLC on lost, damaged or stolen items. In the event you did not opt-in to Route Package Protection, you will need to contact the carrier (USPS or UPS) with any claims for lost, stolen or damaged shipments. Route package protection is a final sale is is not refundable once purchased.

GIFT CARD POLICY

Gift cards are a final sale and are not refundable once purchased.

BOGO REFUND POLICY

We process returns and refunds for any orders including a BOGO promotion at pro-rated amounts. For example, should you purchase one pair at $120.00 (full price) and the other at $100.00 (full price), less the 50% for the lesser priced shoe (-$50.00); should you return the full priced shoe, we will refund you the prorated amount.

Refund Explained:
If ‘SHOE 1’ (full priced shoe) is returned, the amount refunded will be $70.00 (+ taxes paid). The total paid for the pair that was kept, ‘SHOE 2’ is thus full price--As the stipulation of Buy One Get One implies, if one pair is returned, the discount is then null & void once the other pair is returned.
